Our vision

One of the greatest opportunities of the 21st century is the realisation of the impact economy: an economy where everyday work, entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology lead to a better world. To achieve this, a global system shift is needed in which we keep the valuable components of the old market system while embracing new economic models. In an impact economy businesses manage their true profits, and provide positive value for each stakeholder within social and planetary boundaries.

History

Impact Institute is a Netherlands-based social enterprise focused on advisory, technology and impact innovation. Founded in 2018, and formerly known as True Price, we have developed methods and tools to measure and monetise impact, such as the Impact Weighted Accounts Framework, and True Price monetisation factors.

We work together with a dedicated team of impact advisors, researchers, and technology engineers. Our work has been internationally recognised, amongst others, by the UN ISAR Award. We are part of a family of organisations realising the impact economy, together with True Price and Impact Economy Foundation.
