True Price Analyst Intern

The work enables businesses and consumers to make informed decisions and take responsibility for their true impact. We specialize in true pricing in food, consumer goods, and other sectors, working with leading companies to integrate sustainability into their core business strategies.

True Price is currently looking for a motivated intern to join our team and support our analytical work. As a True Pricing Analyst Intern, you will develop expertise in quantifying externalities, applying economic and sustainability frameworks, and contributing to cutting-edge projects that help businesses take action on true pricing.

Activities

You work closely with other team members and you will be working on internal and client projects with regular team check-ins. At the start, you will do supplementary analysis under close supervision, as it involves client work. Soon you will get more responsibilities and support throughout all phases of a project’s cycle. You will be part of our project team and will be trained to become a true price analyst. Your tasks include:

  • Data-driven impact analysis: Conduct quantitative analyses on the true environmental and social costs of products, using primary and secondary data.
  • Economic & business modeling: Assess financial and business cases for companies to profitably reduce their external costs and improve sustainability performance.
  • Collaborative research & reporting: Work with our data, tech, and research teams to refine methodologies, improve models, and communicate findings to clients.
  • Project support & client engagement: Assist in client projects, gaining increasing responsibilities as you develop expertise in true pricing methodologies.

Your profile

You are looking for a hands-on professional experience in a stimulating environment, where you will learn a lot and get the opportunity to work on projects that have an impact.   • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree (or final-year Bachelor’s student with strong analytical skills).
  • Background in sustainability, environmental sciences, econometrics, statistics, mathematics, industrial ecology, business, or a related field.
  • Strong quantitative skills with an ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Affinity with true pricing, sustainable business, and impact assessment.
  • Ability to communicate technical analyses clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in English (academic level); Dutch is a plus.
  • Experience with programming (Python, R, SQL) and databases is a plus.
  • Proactive, accurate, results-driven, and eager to learn.
  • Based in The Netherlands.
