About us
True Price is a social enterprise. We are a movement of consumers, businesses, and institutions that take action in incorporating environmental and social costs in prices. We envision a world where all products are sold for a true price to enable a sustainable global economy. True Price works closely with its sister organization Impact Institute.
A product is sold for the true price when there are no social and environmental externalities that go against established human, labour and environmental rights, and, if some externalities exist, then sufficient funds are allocated to remediate them. Our methodology to calculate true prices of products is acknowledged worldwide as one of the most advanced. Over more than a decade we have developed it in collaboration with Impact Institute and their academic partners.
