Webfleet Solutions – The environmental impact of activities

Webfleet Solutions is one of the world’s leading telematics solution providers that helps companies get closer to their drivers. While Webfleet Solutions is working to create greener platforms and services for its clients by working in partnership with Justdiggit, it also aims to become a greener company through its own operations.
Project description
The project analyzed the most material activities of Webfleet Solutions in 2018 and made a baseline assessment (CO2 scan) of the company’s carbon footprint. In accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol), the world’s most widely used GHG accounting standard, Impact Institute measured greenhouse gas emissions associated with Webfleet’s most material activities by expressing it in in CO2–eq. In 2019 Impact Institute delivered the underlying models to Webfleet Solutions to enable them to manage their carbon footprint autonomously.
Benefits to the client
Webfleet Solutions obtained an overview of its most material operations where direct and indirect (from electricity or other) GHG emissions occur. The outcomes help Webfleet Solutions identify which operations cause the most GHG emissions and how to improve and become a greener company.
