Om realistische doelen te stellen, moeten organisaties rekening houden met de uitstoot van hun hele waardeketen.<\/p>\n<p>Het <strong>GHG Protocol<\/strong> deelt deze emissies in drie Scopes in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Scope 1<\/span> emissies zijn directe emissies uit bronnen die eigendom zijn van of beheerd worden door organisaties.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Scope 2<\/span> emissies zijn indirecte emissies door de opwekking van ingekochte energie.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Scope 3<\/span> emissies zijn alle indirecte emissies (niet opgenomen in Scope 2) die plaatsvinden in de upstream- en downstreamwaardeketen van het rapporterende bedrijf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=&#8221;custom&#8221; accent_color=&#8221;#2a4d36&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>Inschrijven voor onze cursussen:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>De gevolgen van klimaatverandering meten en beheren<\/li>\n<li>Impact op biodiversiteit meten en beheren<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=&#8221;custom&#8221; accent_color=&#8221;#2a4d36&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SDe GHG-emissies van Scope 3 vormen doorgaans de grootste component van de koolstofvoetafdruk van bedrijven en portefeuilles &#8211; tot wel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.impactinstitute.com\/nl\/indirecte-impact-in-de-waardeketen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">90% van de totale impact<\/a> \u2013 en ook de lastigste om te meten.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner content_placement=&#8221;middle&#8221;][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2490&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Data nodig:<\/strong> Scope 3-emissies zijn essentieel voor het verkrijgen van een waarheidsgetrouw overzicht van de koolstofvoetafdruk van organisaties. Ze leveren cruciale meetgegevens om de netto nuldoelstellingen te halen en te voldoen aan de nieuwe EU-regelgeving. Er is dringend behoefte aan gedetailleerde, robuuste en betrouwbare scope 3-emissiegegevens.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]Nu steeds meer bedrijven zich inzetten voor <strong>netto nul doelstellingen, <\/strong>groeit de behoefte aan Scope 3-emissiedata snel. Bedrijven moeten de juiste gegevens verzamelen om de koolstofvoetafdruk van hun organisaties in de waardeketen te meten.<\/p>\n<p>Het rapporteren van Scope 3-emissies wordt binnenkort een vereiste voor verplichte organisaties in de EU-regelgeving. Sinds 2021 is de<strong>EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR)<\/strong> van kracht, die verplichte ESG-openbaarmaking oplegt aan deelnemers aan de financiele markten: beleggers moeten kwantitatief rapporteren over de Belangrijkste Nadelige Effecten (PVA&#8217;s) van hun portefeuilles. Er zijn echter drie cruciale uitdagingen bij het berekenen van de scope-emissies:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Het verzamelen van Scope 3-data is moeilijk:<\/strong><br \/>\nInvesteerders en <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">organisaties<\/span> hebben vaak complexe waardeketens, met leveranciers, klanten, leningen en investeringen in verschillende landen en bedrijfstakken. Het verzamelen van gegevens van al deze directe waardeketenverbindingen is een grote uitdaging. Sectorale gemiddelden en proxy&#8217;s van hoge kwaliteit zijn ook moeilijk te vinden vanwege de tijd, expertise en middelen die nodig zijn om rekening te houden met beperkingen, onzekerheden en inconsistenties.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Waardeketens overlappen elkaar vaak, wat gemakkelijk leidt tot dubbeltellingen:<\/strong><br \/>\nHet bijhouden van Scope 3 broeikasgasemissies zonder dubbeltelling vormt een aanzienlijke uitdaging en vereist een geschikte meetbenadering. De impact van een steenkoolproducent op de waardeketen omvat bijvoorbeeld de impact van de verbranding in een elektriciteitscentrale op basis van steenkool. Tegelijkertijd omvat de impact van de waardeketen van de elektriciteitsproducent ook deze impact. Om een nauwkeurig inzicht te krijgen in de uitstoot van beide bedrijven, moet het dubbel tellen van dezelfde impact in verschillende waardeketens worden vermeden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Het toewijzen van emissies binnen grote waardeketens is een uitdagende taak:<\/strong><br \/>\nDe waardeketens van vandaag omvatten meerdere lagen van leveranciers en klanten, waardoor de definitie van de grenzen van de waardeketen en de toewijzing van verantwoordelijkheid tussen partners in de waardeketen een ontmoedigende kwestie wordt bij het meten van Scope 3-emissies.
