Public Entrepreneurship Intern

We are currently looking for a motivated Public Entrepreneurship intern to join our office in Amsterdam. Public entrepreneurship encompasses the realization of public goals (such as the creation of knowledge, standards, coalitions and open data/tools) with entrepreneurial means. In particular, you will be working on partnerships with governments, universities, NGOs and social enterprises. An important element is your contribution to the partnership with the Impact Economy Foundation and True Price.

Activities

  • You will be supporting our Public Entrepreneurship activities in establishing partnerships, working on standardization projects, making a communication plan and researching the impact measurement market
  • You will be helping with running the day-to-day-activities and external communication
  • You will be driving in developing and implementing organizational processes for start-ups with process mapping and templates
  • You will be part of the project teams working on activities for different foundations with regard to standard incubation and community building
  • You will work on community building for an Impact Economy by engaging with impact professionals

  • A compensation of €350 per month and commuting costs up to €275 per month for Interns with a completed Bachelor Degree, based on a full time internship

Your profile

You are looking for a hands-on professional experience in a stimulating environment, where you will learn a lot and get the opportunity to work on projects that have an impact.   • Higher Vocational Education/University degree (bachelor required)
  • Relevant background (coursework in business administration, entrepreneurship, marketing, communications, community management)
  • Affinity with sustainable development, entrepreneurship, economics and communications
  • Ability to work hard in a professional setting
  • Ambitious person with a drive to improve the world
  • Independent, accurate, results-oriented and problem solver
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured way of working
  • Ability to write in Dutch and English at academic level. Dutch fluency is a plus.
