Executive Business Assistant to the Executive Director

Role: Executive Business Assistant

A key aim for the coming years is to professionalize and scale the organization. To support the team and the executive director in doing so, we are looking for an Executive Business Assistant.

In this role, you will support the executive director in his business responsibilities as his right-hand person and coordinate the flow of information, actions, time and meetings. In addition, you will support the director in external engagements and internal projects he oversees.

Responsibilities

  • Track and coordinate the flow of information to and to-dos of to the executive director.
  • Coordinate the flow of internal and external meetings of the executive director.
  • Managing and keeping an overview of clear action items and follow-ups after meetings.
  • Assess inquiries directed to the executive director, determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual to manage.
  • Managing the agenda and mail of the director.
  • Support in planning the month ahead, in coordinating time allocation and priorities and in ensuring the relevant information needed to assist the executive director.
  • Supporting the executive director with making external presentations.
  • Supporting the executive director with internal projects the director oversees.
  • Supporting the executive director with reviewing documents.

Profile

  • Intrinsically motivated, ambitious, hard-working and a true team player
  • An educational background at master level in a relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of professional working experience
  • A proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong practical problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
